Studio Process

With Lindsey Zamora Events, we are more than just a planner. We are a confidant and a friend. We want to dig deep and get to know our clients at their core. After all, We believe weddings are more than a wedding- they are an experience for you and each guest. We strive to bring the best experience to you throughout the engagement + wedding day itself!


No. 1

Initial Consultation

After completing our inquiry form, a consultation will be scheduled. The consultation is a way for both of us to get to know each other a bit better and hopefully we feel like we are the perfect fit for each other! We will chat about your background and interests, wedding details, and priorities during the planning. Consultations typically last 1 hour. 


No. 2

Proposal and Contracts

Service proposals are sent after the initial consultation. Once accepted, an electronic contract and first invoice will be sent.

We require a 50% retainer and signed contract to book our services.


No. 3

Welcome Aboard 

Each client will receive a welcome packet with information about our studio policies, and helpful information to guide you through the planning phase. 


No. 4

Project Management

The engagement timeline can differ depending on when services are booked and which services are requested. A planning schedule is developed and prioritized  according to where each client is at the time of booking. Each Client is given access to an online portal that is customized to their particular event. Lindsey uses the portal to manage: client schedules, planning meetings, budget development, vendor contracts, quotes, task lists, timelines, payments due and more! Through this live and up-to-date system, everyone is in the know at all times!

No. 5


Lindsey designs with intention and purpose, which means before we can delve into creating color palettes and mood boards, we need to know the ins and outs of you. The design process begins with a few questionnaires (and some self-reflection). As the core values of the couple are brought to light, only then are design proposals created, crafted and finally sent. The design process is fluid and will continue to evolve through collaborations with vendors and as the client/planner relationship develops.  

Sketches, room layouts, fabric swatches, and samples are all part of the design board that is presented to clients.  


No. 6

 Wedding Day: STYLING

Styling services are offered with the Short Term and Standard Level services. Styling is the art of composing items in an aesthetically pleasing way. It differs from merely "setting up". Lindsey composes shots for photographers and intentionally works this into the wedding timeline. A few hand- selected props and fabrics are brought to the wedding based on the overall feel and design. Styling services allow the vision to remain consistent and unified through the details.

Wedding day: Vendor Management and Timeline

Lindsey and her team will manage vendor set up, wedding party direction, photography shot list, transportation, ceremony processional and the reception. We even pack up all your personal belongings for you at the end of the night! Clients are at ease knowing everything (and more) is taken care of!
