unitas workshop | creative direction + styling

this past february, I had the honor to create and style taylor lord's first workshop: unitas. the photography workshop took place in austin, texas (which i am now in love with and currently trying to convince my husband, robert to move to) where i met so many talented, great wedding photographers from all across the united states. the styled shoot was loosely inspired by the renaissance painting, primavera by sandro botticelli. i wanted the feel to exhibit a unified mix of old world yet modern, fresh and approachable. a mix of raw and refined. new and old. i scoured all of dallas and austin to find elements that merged the natural geodes to the patina plates perfectly. i hope you enjoy as much as i did creating and styling! you can see the feature on ruffled blog here.
