Victoria and I had such a great time designing and planning her day, along with Pollen Events, who knocked it out of the park with the floral design! The overall design included a color palette of varying tones of lavender, farm tables with loose vines mixed with low, lush centerpieces and an abundance of soft candlelight.Read More
The vineyard overlooked the native Texas agriculture's rolling hills, cacti and wildflowers which ended up being the perfect backdrop for the wedding. One of my favorite memories was the thank you speech given by the couple under the Texas sunset and then later dancing their first dance under festoon lights as their family and friends gazed upon them. Everyone involved was so gracious, welcoming and hardworking to pull off a beautiful day. It was such a beautiful evening and we were lucky to be part of it!Read More
Valerie and Chris were married on the first Fall weekend last year here in Texas and it was oh-so-beautiful! Their wedding took place at The Grove in Aubrey, Texas- the grounds are picturesque with tree lined alleys everywhere you looked. When Valerie came to me last March she talked about celebrating the fall season with romantic lighting and simple design. She and I worked together to create a warm and inviting color palette of cranberry, blush, blackberry, evergreen and pecan. Jessica Huston, of Root and Bloom, and I dreamed up a beautiful 20' garland installation that hung above the dance floor! To balance out the installation we chose to have alternating centerpiece designs of tall magnolia leaves and low, lush floral arrangements. I am such a sucker for mixing in a bit of metallics, so alternating gold and copper chargers were paired with matte gray plates and mother of pearl flatware. Brett Heidebrecht was behind the lense and captured it all on film- oh, how I love that black and white grain! Their day was full of so much friendship and love and it showed in all aspects of planning their wedding. It was a total joy!Read More
Casey and Stevan were married in Austin, Texas during the Spring season. Casey was my sweet "Italian Bride". She and I hit it off from our very first consultation. She has impeccable style and let me just run with her ideas. She and Stevan had an intimate 50 guest wedding and were married overlooking the Texas Hill Country at Chapel Dulcinea.
Later they dined with their closest friends with an Al Fresco, Family style dinner at Le San Michelle in Buda, Texas. Their wedding was a total dream and will always be a personal favorite!Read More
