Victoria and I had such a great time designing and planning her day, along with Pollen Events, who knocked it out of the park with the floral design! The overall design included a color palette of varying tones of lavender, farm tables with loose vines mixed with low, lush centerpieces and an abundance of soft candlelight.Read More
Shyler and Trevor's wedding will always hold a very special place in my heart. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met and so incredible genuine. They were married last Fall in their own backyard (seriously, how perfect is that!?) and it was such a dream! Shyler has such a sweet soul and I loved how well we worked together. I was in love with her vision from our first meeting- clean, simple and organic with a color palette of ivory, cream and lush greens. We designed a ceremony that was intimate, inviting, and full of various plants and candles. Her reception is one of my favorites to date- king's tables allowed for family style dinning (calling all brides- this is so fun and you should totally do it!!), the tables were lined with potted mums, herbs and white flowers and tables flanked with rows of warm wooden chairs. The night was filled with so many kind words, laughs and happy tears. I am forever thankful to have played a small part. Could not have done it without my wonderful team of vendors! It is always my goal to create and plan an event that is uniquely personal to my clients as a couple. Catherine and Vishal hired me nine months prior to their wedding because Catherine was feeling overwhelmed, as most brides do, about the wedding planning process.
This multi cultural Indian/American wedding was more American in style but it was still important to my clients to bring in some traditional Indian elements. Nature and the outdoors were very important and we found a private residence to host their event.Read More
The vineyard overlooked the native Texas agriculture's rolling hills, cacti and wildflowers which ended up being the perfect backdrop for the wedding. One of my favorite memories was the thank you speech given by the couple under the Texas sunset and then later dancing their first dance under festoon lights as their family and friends gazed upon them. Everyone involved was so gracious, welcoming and hardworking to pull off a beautiful day. It was such a beautiful evening and we were lucky to be part of it!Read More
Lyndsie and Kevin were married one week before Christmas. Their wedding ceremony took place in Dallas at Highland Park United Methodist Church and reception at 3015 Trinity Groves. I was lucky to work with Lyndsie and her mom, Mary, for six months planning this beautiful, dreamy day! It was so beautiful and such a fun wedding to work on. Lyndsie and Kevin- you sure do know how to throw a great party! Big Thank you to Amy Zumwalt for capturing the day so beautifully!Read More
Grace and Clarence were married last spring at The White Sparrow Barn and gosh, their day was beautiful! They hired me as their full planner which included logistical and design services combined. Grace longed for a day that felt romantic, simple and natural. She opted for the ceremony to be inside the iconic all white barn and the cocktail hour and reception outdoors under festoon lights. I was so in love with her overall feel and so happy she let me "just run with it"! With the help of Root and Boom, we designed a custom ceremony backdrop made up of foraged greenery climbing up the stunning barn doors that were balanced by distressed urns filled with olive branch and eucalyptus. Their day went off without a hitch and was so fun to watch them celebrate with all of their friends and family after working together for so long! Congratulations you two and happy first holidays as a married couple!! xo, LindseyRead More
