Shyler and Trevor's Backyard Dallas Wedding

Shyler and Trevor's wedding will always hold a very special place in my heart. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met and so incredible genuine. They were married last Fall in their own backyard (seriously, how perfect is that!?) and it was such a dream! Shyler has such a sweet soul and I loved how well we worked together. I was in love with her vision from our first meeting- clean, simple and organic with a color palette of ivory, cream and lush greens. We designed a ceremony that was intimate, inviting, and full of various plants and candles. Her reception is one of my favorites to date- king's tables allowed for family style dinning (calling all brides- this is so fun and you should totally do it!!), the tables were lined with potted mums, herbs and white flowers and tables flanked with rows of warm wooden chairs. The night was filled with so many kind words, laughs and happy tears. I am forever thankful to have played a small part. Could not have done it without my wonderful team of vendors! Lifestyle Engagement session with Callie Manion Photography

Victoria and Will are so natural together. Their love is full of energy and their voices are seriously so beautiful! This intimate at home engagement session was just so "them".  For this shoot, Victoria consulted me on both her and Will's wardrobes and asked me to style the breakfast table with yummy foods and rose (Victoria's favorite) along with little vignettes on the fly. Victoria and Will, you two are just the sweetest and best and I can not wait for your wedding! xoxo

Blending Cultures- Catherine and Vishal

It is always my goal to create and plan an event that is uniquely personal to my clients as a couple. Catherine and Vishal hired me nine months prior to their wedding because Catherine was feeling overwhelmed, as most brides do, about the wedding planning process.

This multi cultural Indian/American wedding was more American in style but it was still important to my clients to bring in some traditional Indian elements. Nature and the outdoors were very important and we found a private residence to host their event.

The Wedding was to take place during the Fall season in Texas. When Catherine and I had our creative meeting, she told me about her dream of an outdoor fete that was “very French”. She gravitated towards dusty blue and blush colors, which seemed a bit spring, in my opinion. After some deliberation we decided that pops of cranberry would accent the color palette well and fit in with the Fall season. Deep red also a symbolizes love in Indian weddings which was a great way to infuse the two cultures together a bit more.

After months of designing, planning and much anticipation Catherine and Vishal were married under the most beautiful floral chandelier in front of 120 friends and family. They later dinned, laughed and danced the night away under festoon lights.

Both, Catherine and Vishal are such beautiful people both inside and out and I so loved working with them to plan and design their wedding day!
